Lateral Stability Control of Four-Wheel-Drive Electric Vehicle Based on Coordinated Control of Torque Distribution and ESP Differential Braking

This research focuses on four-wheel-drive electric vehicles. On the basis of hierarchical coordinated control strategy, system driving force distribution regulation and differential braking was designed to increase vehicles steering stability under special road working conditions. A seven-degree-of-freedom model an vehicle established in MATLAB/Simulink, then a coordination Electronic program dynamic torque established. Adaptive fuzzy applied ESP and, based neural network PID control, designed. proposed model, performance simulation hardware-in-the-loop test typical condition single line shift were carried out. From final results, it can be seen that strategy greatly improve safety after serious side slip, whole vehicle, effectively lateral stability.
